Valentine

So what if I don't believe in Valentine?
But if you do then it's absolutely fine

Love is when a groom cares for his bride
Love is when a soldier fights for his pride
Love is when a scholar reveres his guide
Love is an ancient delirium which never died
Love is a feeling so pristine, pious and divine
So what if I don't believe in Valentine?

Love can transpire at a glance, in a stance
Love can happen to anyone, in Rome or France
Love is the life's dance, a tryst with romance
Remember, you may never get a second chance
Love ages & gets better like a vintage wine
So what if I don't believe in Valentine?

Loving someone is not just a matter of day
It's a kinda endearment noone can take away
Now this is moral of the story I always say
And in the end that brings me up to pray
Thou Lord! I beth thine. Till Doomsday, she beth mine.

PS: Pardon me as I have tried to use a bit of poetic license in the medieval style here in the last line. Please read beth archaically as the third person singular simple present indicative form of be.
